@Home Childcare is sensitive to your family needs. Our flexible childcare is available for you to use on a regular or ad hoc basis. We also provide out of regular hours childcare from 7am until 10pm or 11pm.
Our Childcare options are as follows:
Before school care
Provide early morning care, usually from 7.00am - 9.00am, although times may vary. The role generally involves the morning routine of getting the children ready for school including preparing breakfast and taking them to school.
After School Care
Provide after school care from about 3pm until 7pm although times may vary. The routine will include collecting the children from school and caring for them in their home until their parents arrive from work. This may include supervising homework, reading to them, preparing a snack or evening tea and accompanying children to after school activities.
Sole Charge Childcare
A sole charge childcarer is an experienced, qualified home childcarer who will fully care for your children. Working parents usually opt for a sole charge if they need childcare for longer periods of time, especially very young children. A sole charge childcarer can also be used to provide wraparound childcare if you wish to combine home childcare with a nursery or after school club.
Holiday care
Provide part-time care during the school holiday. Duties may include organising activities like arts & crafts, accompanying children to organised activities, preparing snacks and light meals. Parents can combine this option with holiday clubs.
Parents’ Help
Parents’ help is generally someone to act as an extra pair of hands while you care for your baby and/or pre-school children. The role may be largely shared care with some periods of sole charge. Some assistance with light housework such as washing up, tidying (no heavy cleaning) is normally involved.
