The Diploma in home-based childcare (DHC) is a level 3 qualification aimed at childminders and nannies. The focus of course is developing knowledge and understanding to provide high quality care and early years education in a home setting.
@Home Childcare DHC is delivered as a flexible learning course. We understand home-based childcarers may not have much time to attend a weekly college course but they may not want an entire distance learning course either!
We have designed our DHC to fit in with your schedule. The bulk of the DHC can be completed in the childcarer’s own time so you can work at your own pace. The underpinning training will take place at a time to suit you, usually on Saturdays, and you can train in small groups with other home-based childcarers.
