As you can imagine, candidate vetting is often the No. 1 priority for parents, and rightly so!
We are particularly interested in qualified and/or experienced applicants such as:
- professional childcarers who already work in a childcare setting such as nursery nurses, crèche workers, childminders, nannies
- People who work with children in other fields e.g. teaching assistants, care workers, teachers
- parents with extensive experience of raising your own children or grandchildren.
The vetting procedure includes:
- Completing a detailed application form prior to the interview
- A friendly face-to-face interview where we assess your suitability for home childcare, as well as checking ID and providing advice on the CRB check
- A Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure check
- A minimum of 2 references (not friends or family).
