About me
My name is Tanny and I live in our happy home with my husband and our 7 year old son. My previous work background is in events planning and also aviation. I have been passionate about child development ever since my son was born. I understand that each child is different in their own unique way and that we are here to help them grow as individuals. Using the EYFS, I ensure the fun learning activities I plan for children are tailored to their individual development needs.
I am very interested in how children develop by being encouraged to learn new skills through play, and how early relationships and social interaction help them develop vital skills for life. I am a friendly caregiver with a forever positive mindset. This is reflected in the chilled atmosphere of Tiny Toes.

Location
Tanny’s Tiny Toes is located in Redhill/Arnold and has great transport links into the city centre. It is close to two lovely local parks: St Mary’s Park and Arnot Hill Park, our go-to places for local trips.
My house is only a two minute walk away from Richard Bonington Primary School where I offer school drop-offs/pick-up service.

About my home setting
My home setting is a bright, homely environment. I like to promote outdoor learning with the use natural toys/resources and real-life experiences to encourage children to ‘have a go’ so they can learn from doing.
My enclosed child-friendly garden has lots of different areas for children to curiously explore including a Dino Den and a mud kitchen. They can even use their imagination with a section of the garden we created for children to use as their very own fairy garden.
Every day we sing nursery rhymes where children can learn to develop their vocabulary, literacy and numeracy. We also have a cosy reading corner where your child can enjoy choosing and looking at range of picture books they love.
As a keen cook, I like children to experience a variety of home-cooked meals from around the world, especially Thailand, which is where I’m from. They can also enjoy cooking and baking with me too.
Following the government Covid guidelines, we have put in place measures to make sure we are Covid aware and safe, while children can still feel relaxed and at home.
- Regular handwashing
- Parents and carers will be asked to collect their child from the front door
- Any toys used throughout the day will be disinfected
- Staggered pick up/drop off times
- We will be spending time outdoors as much as possible

“Tanny’s Tiny Toes is a warm and inviting home setting that instantly captures the attention of children. It has a sense of well-being where children can be themselves.
