A team that’s with you for the journey.
We’re here to help you succeed, not just as a childminder, but as a confident, independent business owner.
Why we started.
We felt too many brilliant people were put off by the idea of doing it all alone, unsure where to start or daunted by the business side of things. We set out to change that by building a network built on real relationships, not just processes.
@Home Childcare was created to make childminding easier to start, better supported, and more rewarding. From day one, you’re surrounded by real people who care about your success and are here when you need them. That’s how we help you, and the families you serve, thrive.
What we believe.
We believe childminders should feel proud of what they do and properly supported while they do it.
You’re not just caring for children, you’re supporting families and running a business. That takes skill, heart and commitment. We’re here to back you with personal, practical support from real people who understand what it’s like, so you feel confident in your role, and never on your own.
Who we are.
We’re a social enterprise with a heart for childcare and a head for business.
Our team includes early years specialists, former childminders, quality experts and mentors, all here to help you succeed. We’ve been where you are, we know what works, and we care about helping you build something that lasts.
Still exploring whether childminding is right for you?
What makes us different.
Real people, shared values, meaningful support.
If you’re thinking about becoming a childminder, chances are it’s because you care. About children. About families. About doing things properly. That’s what we care about too. And when you’re building a childcare business, it helps to have people around you who share those values, people who will guide, reassure and stand by you when it matters.
That’s what we mean by real support.
Our sister company
Orange Moon Training, our sister company, is a government-approved provider of high-quality training to childcare and education practitioners.
It provides specialist training to help raise standards across the sector, improve skills, ensure best practice and give the individuals we work with the best platform to develop their careers.
Many of the childminder early educators we support undertake a nationally recognised qualification with us. Much of our training is fully funded, including apprenticeships and pre-registration training for educators, which means we can provide a cost-effective way for you to develop your skills and start your career in early years childcare.
