About me

Cotswold Childminding Co. is a registered, DBS-checked childminding service offering registered childcare with flexible hours and funded places to support families.

As a mother of 7-year-old twins, Alex understands firsthand the challenges of finding trustworthy, high-quality childcare – especially in a rural setting. Balancing nursery drop-offs, school runs, and work commitments in the countryside can be difficult, which is why she created Cotswold Childminding Co., a nurturing, home-from-home childcare option designed to support parents like her.

With experience working in a school, Alex follows the EYFS framework, ensuring children hit key developmental milestones while having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Our Approach:
  • Outdoor Learning – Daily outdoor activities to encourage exploration and play.
  • Home-from-Home Environment – A warm, welcoming space where children feel safe and valued.
  • Healthy, Home-Cooked Meals – Nutritious meals made with fresh ingredients.
  • Happy, Secure Children – A focus on confidence, well-being, and joyful learning.
  • Personalised Care – Small group sizes for individual attention and nurturing support.
