About me

Hello, I’m Tamara, a registered childminder and a mother of two wonderful children. Our home is a warm, energetic, and creative space with a love of arts and crafts. I am DBS-checked and offer flexible childcare, including funded places.

With a background in children’s services at Nottingham City Council, and experience as a midday supervisor and Playworker at Larkfield Infant School, I have a strong foundation in supporting children’s early development. I am passionate about early years education, promoting creativity and the joy of learning through play.

I run a small handmade craft business, so my setting is always stocked with exciting materials to bring out the artist and crafter in every child, from painting and crafting to sensory play.

My setting offers both hot and cold meals, catering to dietary and allergy requirements. We have a secure garden backing onto Kimberley Park, so plenty of opportunities for outdoor play. I also arrange visits to local playgroups, libraries, and even trips to a nearby farm and equestrian school.

I started my childminding journey after experiencing firsthand the challenges of balancing work and childcare costs. This inspired me to create a supportive, affordable, and nurturing environment for other families facing similar challenges.

If you’re looking for a safe, engaging, and family-oriented setting where your child can learn, play, and thrive, I’d love to welcome you!

Inspection Reports

As a newly registered childcare provider, she may still be in the early stages of her quality and safety checks process. Initial visits focus on supporting new providers and checking that required standards are in place. These visits do not result in a quality grade.

A quality grade is awarded following a full inspection, which usually takes place around 10 to 14 months after registration.
