We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Childcare Apprentice to join our friendly early years setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to begin a rewarding career in childcare while gaining hands-on experience and working towards recognised Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years qualifications.

No previous childcare experience is required — just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities

As an apprentice, you will:

  • Help to provide a safe, clean, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children’s individual needs are understood and supported
  • Support the planning and delivery of exciting, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support the safeguarding and well-being of all children within the setting
  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, play, outings, school pick-ups, nappy changing, and personal care for children from babies up to 5 years old
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Learn from an experienced childcare practitioner while working towards your qualification and completing training
