Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will:
- Help to provide a safe, clean, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children’s individual needs are understood and supported
- Support the planning and delivery of exciting, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support the safeguarding and well-being of all children within the setting
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, play, outings, school pick-ups, nappy changing, and personal care for children from babies up to 5 years old
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Learn from an experienced childcare practitioner while working towards your qualification and completing training
