About me
- Strong family background: I am a caring, calm and responsible mother of two children who attend local state grammar schools. I have a professional background in medicine and a PhD in Biological Sciences, and my husband is a neurosurgeon, giving our family a strong understanding of health, child development, wellbeing, hygiene and safety.
- Safe and nurturing environment: I aim to provide a warm, welcoming home-from-home where every child feels happy, safe, valued, respected and included.
- Child wellbeing: What makes my setting different is my special focus on supporting children’s physical, emotional, social and mental wellbeing.
- Mindfulness, meditation and yoga: I will offer age-appropriate yoga, simple meditation and mindfulness activities in a fun and child-friendly way to promote concentration, emotional awareness, confidence, self-regulation and a sense of calm.
- Learning and healthy development: Children will enjoy learning through play, creative activities, outdoor experiences and healthy lifestyle activities, encouraging curiosity, confidence and independence whilst following the EYFS framework.
- My passion for childminding: I genuinely enjoy caring for children and supporting their development, helping them grow into confident, kind, mindful and well-rounded individuals.

- Good transport links to Altrincham Town Centre and surrounding areas by bus, tram and train, with an hourly bus service between Altrincham and Bowdon.
School pick-up & drop-off
I provide a convenient drop-off and pick-up service for children attending Bollin Primary School.

All @Home Childcare childminder settings are fully risk-assessed and inspected to ensure they are safe and suitable premises for children.
