About me
I have been a Foster Carer for 11 years, caring for children ranging in ages from birth to 13 years. I understand just how important it is for children to feel safe, loved and valued.
I am passionate about creating a warm and welcoming home-from-home environment where every child feels a sense of belonging. I believe childhood should be filled with fun, laughter, friendships and plenty of adventures!
At Little Acorns, kindness, inclusion and friendship are at the heart of everything we do. We love outdoor adventures, exploring nature, getting messy and discovering the world around us.
My aim is to help every little acorn grow in confidence, develop independence and flourish at their own pace. I look forward to welcoming your little ones into my home and sharing lots of wonderful adventures together.

Childcare for families based in Giltbrook, Newthorpe, Watnall, Greasley and the surrounding areas.
We are well situated for many fun adventures! Play parks, nature walks, playgroups and transport links within walking distance. Soft play and libraries a short drive away. And very close to the motorway for adventures a little further away!

About my home setting
All @Home Childcare childminder settings are fully risk-assessed and inspected to ensure they are safe and suitable premises for children.
- I have a conservatory with an assortment of toys and natural resources.
- There is a lovely, cosy reading corner with beanbags and an area with table and chairs.
- There is a good-sized lounge for more space to play and nap.
- The conservatory opens on to a large patio area with mud kitchen and tuff tray areas.
- A large grass area provides plenty of room to run off some energy!
- The garden is completely enclosed and secure.

All @Home Childcare childminders follow the EYFS to ensure every child’s learning and develoment is supported, as well as get to know each child on an individual basis and tailor activities to their needs. Examples include:

Inspection Reports
Kelly was registered in 2026. Her first inspection will take place 10-14 months after registration.
