About me

Hi, I’m Claire, a  childminder, providing flexible childcare in Worksop and the surrounding areas. I understand the importance of providing the crucial foundations for children’s learning and development during those early years. I look forward to offering a holistic approach to learning, exploring both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of time spent in nature is important to me and my philosophy. Child led play will always be the priority to develop independence, curiosity, and imagination.

I have over 20 years’ experience working with children in a range of settings from teaching Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 in Primary Schools and working as a Teaching Assistant in a SEND school, to providing children’s swimming lessons and working as a children’s representative for TUI Holidays in Mallorca.

I decided to take the plunge and leave teaching to register as a childminder whilst on Maternity leave with my son Teddy. I wanted to be able to have the flexibility and the freedom to be at home with him and not miss a moment.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are based in Worksop, Gateford, Kilton, Manton or the surrounding areas. I would be honoured to be a part of you and your child’s support circle.

Inspection Reports

As a newly registered childcare provider, she may still be in the early stages of her quality and safety checks process. Initial visits focus on supporting new providers and checking that required standards are in place. These visits do not result in a quality grade.

A quality grade is awarded following a full inspection, which usually takes place around 10 to 14 months after registration.
