About me

My mission is to provide a secure, respectful, and engaging environment where children can grow with confidence. I value kindness, consistency, open communication with parents, and supporting each child’s individual needs and personality.

Parents can expect a warm, responsible, and attentive caregiver who brings both professionalism and genuine care into the home. I have experience supporting children of different ages, helping with daily routines, homework, creative play, and maintaining a structured yet nurturing environment. What makes me different is my ability to balance structure with warmth. I create a safe environment while encouraging independence, creativity, and good manners. Parents can trust that their children will be cared for with patience, respect, and genuine dedication, whilst providing the flexible hours and funded childcare they need.

About my home setting

All @Home Childcare childminder settings are fully risk-assessed and inspected to ensure they are safe and suitable premises for children.

My home is thoughtfully organised to create a calm, engaging learning environment. I have a cosy reading area with a comfortable rug and accessible books to encourage a love of stories and quiet time. There is a home corner set up for imaginative play, along with a dedicated table space for arts, crafts, puzzles, and focused learning activities. Resources are stored at child height to promote independence and choice.

I provide a wide range of toys and play resources suitable for different ages and developmental stages. These include building blocks, role-play materials, creative art supplies, sensory toys, board games, early learning resources, and outdoor play equipment. Activities are regularly rotated to maintain interest and support learning through play.

The garden is a safe and stimulating outdoor space where children can explore and be active. It includes outdoor toys, space for physical play, and areas suitable for den building and imaginative games. There is also a small growing area where children can plant seeds and learn about nature and responsibility. The outdoor environment supports physical development, creativity, and an appreciation for the natural world.
