'Do Something Big' childcare recruitment campaign, to help people with
a passion for working with children to set up their own childminding business.
Childminders are skilled and qualified professionals who provide care and learning for other people’s children in their own homes. They also play a vital role in delivering early years education to help improve the outcomes of the children they work with.
As well as equipping you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a Good or Outstanding childminder educator, our high-quality training programme can also help you establish and maintain a sustainable and profitable childcare business.
At the end of our programme, you’ll be a registered childminder with the skills and experience you need to provide high quality childcare services to your community and make a positive impact on the lives of local children.
With the government’s ongoing expansion of funded childcare for families, there’s never been a better time to register and become a childminder!
How we help you:
Our Full Support Service
We guide you through the entire training and registration process, with ongoing support, training and mentoring once you are registered. This includes:
- Full training including, Early Years Foundation Stage, Health & Safety, Speech and Language, and much more
- Dedicated support throughout the registration process, including accessing the goverment grant
- Business planning and mentorship
- Profile webpage to help you find parents interested in childcare
- Access to our community of like-minded childminder educators
- A toolkit with essential policies, consent forms, contracts, etc
- Free marketing materials e.g. logo design
- Registration inspection visit to check the health & safety of your home
For a limited period our Start Up Package is available for just £275...less than half our usual price of £600!
Once you are registered we take an ongoing fee of 75p per hour per child that you care for.
